They cleaned the chimney and replaced the gaskets on the fireplace doors, while giving me tips on how to check the draw and make the fire burn more effectively. We had a great experience with River City Chimney & Hearth. They were able to order replacement panels for our 28-year-old fireplace. Installation was smooth and professional, the work area was protected, and they cleaned up afterwards. They were spot on with the estimate for replacing the panels and cleaning the chimney, so no surprises there. They also gave us some great advice for maintaining our fireplace. Set up an appointment to have two chimneys cleaned and inspected. They did an excellent job with no mess. They also pointed out that the one in the basement which had been used with wood logs was only suppose to be used as a natural gas fire place. Others had missed that!!!
